What better way to spend around 90 minutes than travelling through the fields and woods along the River Ouche valley, on part of the old railway line between Epinac and Dijon, established in 1830's and one of the oldest railways in France. tags: narrow gauge, two foot gauge, scenic railroad
The 5 mile rural journey offers the chance to ride behind a steam locomotive on one of the few active narrow gauge steam railway in France.
The principal station for departures is Bligny sur Ouche, but it is also possible to join the train at the new terminus at Pont d'Ouche on sundays and Bank Holidays (there is only one departure from Pont d'Ouche at 15.00 hours). It is also possible to purchase a single ticket from either station.
The free transport of bicycles is possible for passengers.
Two of our "toast rack" coaches are equipped with special ramps and fittings to allow wheelchairs to travel, and there is a disabled toilet at the Bligny sur Ouche station.
All the carriages are fitted with a sound system that allows passengers to hear a commentary about the journey before departure.
Dogs are welcome to travel on our trains.
